We are opening the race evaluation survey for Bukit Cinta 12h Ultra Marathon, which was held last Dec 12, 2015 at Bukit Cinta, University Malaya. The survey is opened for runners who have ran the race. Results are anonymous. Any personal data are stripped out first to maintain confidentiality of submissions. MURA is starting an evaluation of the ultra marathon races in Malaysia by using our members to feedback on the races. We are interested in seeing how the race was done from your point of view with the goal of helping improve the standard of races in Malaysia. It’s now a week since King of Sungai Lembing happened. All runners are back to their training routine and it’s now time to look at the race from the eyes of runners. MURA attended a water station during the recent Pink 50 Ultra race, held on August 1, 2015 in Taman Saujana Hijau in Putrajaya. Our water station was providing water and cheers to runners at a strategic location at km 1 and km 2 of the race. Our volunteers were greatly appreciated by the runners and organisers. Congratulation to all the runners and a big thank you to our volunteers: Nelson Choo, Fedoh Ompiduk, Kahwai Loh, Jason Thai and Jerome Martinent. Our volunteers took photos during the race. MURA Forum & Members’ day – Surviving Multi Stage Ultra Races (North) MURA will be organising on July 25, 2015 a forum in Penang for our North of Malaysia members and local runners. We had a great trail LSD session this morning. 20 runners joined the MURA team for a 17.5km trail run in FRIM. Although the rain was of the party early, a delayed start at 7:15am allowed us to get into the trails with a cooling breeze. Some of the trails were relatively easy and large (Rover trail) while some were more difficult and narrow (Pacat trail).
