MURA will be organizing an ultra running bootcamp on Feb 20-21, 2016 in Janda Baik. The bootcamp will start in the afternoon of the saturday and run until lunch time on sunday with an overnight at Selesa Homes. We have prepared a great program for you guys with few speakers, the main one being Lee Chun How who apart from being a well known ultra runner is an ACE certified personal trainer, run-fit certified and a specialist in nutrition in particular applied to endurance sports. His focus on nutrition helped him make big breakthrough in performance in his races. He will share with us his experience and knowledge around nutrition and training. Other topics that will be part of this boot camp:core training for ultras, injuries prevention, mental preparation. We will also have Kimberley Yap – multiple gold medalist for Malaysia at the Sea games in Triathlon – with us to talk about mental preparation and how to face tough mental challenges. And to top it up, we will have 2 great trail runs in the nearby hills with some running form tips for road and trail by Ng Seow Kong.

The bootcamp is inclusive of the accommodation, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 tea time. The accommodation is shared, however an option is available for single rooms for those who request (additional fee). In the evening, we will show you 2 great running movies.
